Annual Reimbursement Limit – This is the maximal yearly amount that the insurance will pay you, from a few thousand US$ to unlimited coverage.
Annual Deductible – This is the yearly amount that you choose to pay yourself, i.e. before your insurance reimburses you for vet and hospital costs. Only once you have paid your chosen annual deductible will the insurance start paying.
Reimbursement Percentage – This is your chosen reimbursement percentage of what is left of the bill once you have reached your “annual deductible”. Dog insurances mostly offer the choice of 70%, 80% and 90%.
