There are two “levels” or options to Nationwide members. 1 is the complete coverage option which includes high-quality pet insurance for your dog, with medical and wellness protection with 90% of vet bills covered.
Occasions that your dog needs coverage and the highlights of this Full Coverage Plan include:
- Accidents and illnesses
- Surgeries and hospitalisation
- Prescriptions
- Chronic conditions
- Hereditary conditions (no waiting period)
- Wellness exams and tests
- Flea/heart-worm prevention
- Vaccinations
The second level plan is just for medical coverage which includes a more budget-friendly insurance plan with a dependable coverage of the more common medical cost.
This includes:
- Accidents and illnesses
- Surgeries and hospitalisation
- Prescriptions
- Chronic conditions
- some hereditary conditions (1-year waiting period)
Cost of Nationwide Pet Insurance:
Nationwide’s premiums seem to be slightly more costly than its competitors between the two different coverage plans. The first level plan, being the full coverage of your dog’s wellness and medical bills.
Customers can look to pay a premium of $64/month. There is no restrictions age limits or maximum benefits
The second level being just medical coverage is a total of $34/month
