Whistle Go Explorer has a long communication range using GPS and GLONASS that has a nationwide range. Data uploads via Wi-Fi when connected. Only 2.4GHz networks are supported. Also uses Bluetooth.

You can track your pet's location with your Android and iOS smartphones.

Once you have downloaded the app, you will be required to sign up and subscribe for the monthly or yearly plan best for your pet (with your credit card details). Ultimately, you will create a profile—name, weight, breed, and height—for your pet before attaching the device to your pet's collar.
